1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups flour
2 cups finely chopped almonds
Powdered sugar
Directions
1. Heat oven to 325
2. Toast almonds in frying pan till slightly golden
3. Cream butter and sugar in bowl
4 Add almond extract and beat till mixed
5. Add in flour and almonds
6 Roll into small balls @ 1 inch and place on ungreased cookie sheets
7. Bake 16 - 18 minutes until very lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar.
8. When cool roll in powdered sugar again.
Store in air tight container for up to a week, or freeze tightly wrapped.
