Swedish Red Lips
One of the last Christmas Cookies. These are a family favorite from a friend of my moms from the Freeport Garden Club. We have been making these for decades and it is always a family favorite. Make more than one batch, they go quick.
Swedish Red Lips
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
Raspberry Jam ( I like Bonne Maman)
Mix butter and sugar till light and fluffy around 2-3 minutes. Add in flour slowly. Chill till firm about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Form dough into small balls (@2 teaspoons) and make an indentation in each.
Fill cookie with jam and bake for 15 minutes till just starting to brown around the edges.
Let cool completely before storing.
Freezes well. Enjoy!
