Dutch Pancake

Welcome to Sundays in the fall.  The best time to do a Dutch pancake for breakfast.  It is the kind of breakfast that is a show stopper.  And this recipe is so easy.  Put anything you want on top, or just a dusting of powered sugar.  For this one I put some cut up apples in a pan with maple syrup and a little brown sugar and let it cook down till the apples were soft and the juice was thick.  This was done while the pancake was cooking in the oven.

Directions.

2/3 cup flour

2/3 cup milk

3 eggs

2 tablespoons butter melted

Turn oven on to 425 and place a cast iron pan in oven.

Combine all ingredients.  When oven is heated and pan hot, carefully remove pan from oven and pour mixture into pan.  Return to oven and cook for 20 minutes.  Pancake will puff up and turn golden brown when done.

Remove from oven and place anything you want inside it.  Enjoy 😊
