Best Ever Brownies

 These brownies are luscious, and gooey and deep chocolate flavor and you can’t just eat one.  If you are a brownie fan, these are the ones you want to make over and over.  They are tall and crackly on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.  Put them in your recipe book, you don’t want to loose this one!!

I have made these with my students over and over, we have doubled, tripled and halved the recipes.  Added in pretzels, caramels, chips and anything else we could think of.  They always come out great.  Give them a try

                                                    Brownies

1 cup melted butter

2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

1 1/4 cup sugar

4 eggs

1 Tablespoon vanilla

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup flour

1 cup cocoa

1 cup chocolate chips


1.  Preheat oven to 350.  Grease an 8x8 or 9x9 pan and make a parchment sling for the pan.  Grease the sling also.

2.  Combine butter, oil, sugar and whisk together

3.  Add in eggs and vanilla.  Whisk till combined and light in color

4.  Combine dry ingredients and add to bowl.  Stir till combined.

5.  Add in chips and anything else you want

6.  Bake for 35-40 minutes, till knife inserted comes out clean.
