Doggie Treats
This is a great treat for all our fur babies that we love. It is a recipe from Susan Branch Christmas Cook book. Easy and quick and very tasty for the furry ones.
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered dry milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon granulated beef bouillon
6 Tablespoons meat drippings (bacon fat works great)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup ice water
Preheat oven 350.
Combine first 6 ingredients. Cut in meat drippings till it resembles cornmeal and add ice water till it comes together. Press out or roll out and cut into shapes. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet
Bake 25-30 minutes
