Wedding cookie #2

I may have to put this one in the wedding package.  It is that good.  Full of chocolate chips, cocoa and butter.  It rises to the top of double chocolate chip cookies.  I did add some pecans, because I am a pecan fanatic with cookies 😉A big thank you to Imperial Sugar and @CookiesandCups for this recipe.

Death by Chocolate Chip Cookies

8 oz semi sweet chocolate melted
1 cup butter - room temperature
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

1.  Cream Butter and sugar till light and fluffy
2.  Add melted cocoa and eggs and vanilla extract - stir to combine
3.  Add in dry ingredients
4 . Fold in chocolate chips
5.  Chill dough for 30 - 60 min
6.  Preheat oven to 350 and drop large spoonfuls (2 tablespoons) of dough 2 inches apart on parchment lined baking sheet
7.  Bake 12 - 13 minutes ( DO NOT OVERBAKE). They will come out soft,  that is when they just ooze chocolate. 😋. Cool on baking sheet 3 minutes.  After they are finished cooling enjoy or I have frozen them without any problem.  They are still amazing.
